International Media business, with a key site in the West End of London, requires an IT Operations Manager to look after the Service Desk and Desktop Support functions for a user base in excess of 300. The Ops Manager will also be the main point of escalation for support issues and therefore it is imperative that your technical skills are current & live and that you want to remain in a hands-on capacity.
You will manage a small team covering Service Desk, Desktop Support and Training and you must have previous experience within a similar capacity. From a technical perspective, you will have strong skills within Microsoft Desktop and Server, Active Directory, Exchange, VMWare, Security / Firewalls, Back-up and recovery applications, Citrix, etc.
A further key responsibility will be to take a lead in the design and ongoing development of the technical environment, including the proposal of new solutions and technologies. You will also ensure that the department provides a high service level to the business, as well as creating and fostering a dynamic partnership between IT and the wider business community.

- Previous experience managing Service Desk, Desktop Support and Training functions
- Strong hands-on skills covering Microsoft Desktop and Server, Active Directory, Exchange, VMWare, Security and Firewalls
- Experience of Back-up and Recovery applications, as well as Linux, Skype for Business, Apple devices, etc would be highly advantageous
- Must be articulate and personable, with excellent Stakeholder Management experience in order to develop strong relationships with the business
